I'd like to take a few minutes to introduce you all to Bharath Reddy, Past District Governor of District 3160 in India and most recent GSE team leader from that District to District 6060 in Missouri this past April. Bharath has been a Rotarian for the past 23 years and has served in many roles on both the Club and District, now International Levels. He is married with 2 adult children (both software engineers) and his 87 year old father lives with him and his family in a house that has been in the family for over a hundred years. Bharath has given permission to share excerpts from his emails to me (he will be my host in Nellore from 23 January through 27 January) as well as photos of his home and his team. The photo at the beginning of this post is the team (Bharath in the gold stole) at District Conference in Missorui this past Spring.

This is the home I will be staying in when we reach Nellore. It has been in Barath's family for more than a hundred years.

Bharath's family has been rice farmers for generations. This photo was taken at the beginning of December 2007 a week after the new plantings of rice seedlings.
